Loading Styles To Yamaha PSR 640 / 740

STEP 1.
In order load style to your floppy disk, please make sure that you already formatted your floppy disk on your yamaha psr 640. So, if you floppy disk is new and clean, you can format it. If you have any file in your floppy disk, we strongly recommend SAVE all your files on floppy disk to another floppy disk or SAVE it to your computer, before you format it. Since after formatting your drive is empty and all the files on it will also be deleted.

To format the floppy disk on your psr 640, please:

1. insert your floppy disk into your keyboard disk drive (floppy drive)
2. Press [UTILITY] button
3. Select "FORMAT" in opened display. To select "format" item, please use the data dial, the [+/YES] or [-/NO] button.
4. Press "NEXT" button to display the format operation.
5. Execude the format operation:

• Press [+/YES] button to execute the format operation
• Press [-/NO] button to abort the format operation

important
Before you format floppy disk on yamaha psr 640, please make sure, that you already copied your disk data to your computer or another flyppy. Otherwise all the data of your floppy disk will be deleted after formating it.

STEP 2.

1. Insert your floppy disk into your computer disk drive (floppy drive)
2. Find your style(s) to your yamaha psr 640/740
3. Copy style(s) and paste to your floppy disk

STEP 3.

1. Insert your floppy disk into your keyboard disk drive (floppy drive)
2. Press [Load] button on your keyboard
3. Select the file to be loaded: please use the data dial, the [+/YES] or [-/NO] button.
4. Press [NEXT] button to display the DATA TYPE selection
5. Select the DATA TYPE to be loaded: please use the data dial, the [+/YES] or [-/NO] button.

You can at the same time load to your Yamaha PSR 640 / 740 three (3) styles.
