Using Styles on Yamaha PSR 2100

Load Styles To Yamaha PSR 1100 / PSR 2100

Dear vst-store.com users, this tutorial will help you to load your own style from computer into your Yamaha PSR-2100 and Yamaha PSR-1100.

To load the style into your Yamaha PSR2100 / PSR1100 you need to have:

• Yamaha PSR 1100 or Yamaha PSR 2100 keyboard
• Style(s) to load to your Yamaha PSR 1100 / PSR 2100
  
• Computer with FLOPPY drive
• Floopy Disk to load styles

STEP 1.
Formatting Floppy Disk on Yamaha PSR 1100 / 2100

In order load style to your floppy disk, please make sure that you already formatted your floppy disk on your yamaha psr 1100 or yamaha psr 2100.

When using an unformatted disk for the first time, make sure to properly format it on the PSR-2100 / PSR-1100. This includes blank disks as well as disks already initialized in a different format. Formatting erases all data on the disk.

Formatting a disk completely erases all data on the disk. Please make sure that the disk you’re formatting does not contain
important data.

To format the floppy disk on your yamaha psr 1100 / psr 2100, please follow the steps below:

1. Insert your floppy disk into your yamaha psr 1100 /psr 2100 keyboard disk drive (floppy drive)
2. Press [Function] button to go the Functions page
3. Press [ J ] button buton to select “UTILITY”
4. Press the [BACK] / [NEXT] button to select the “DISK” tab
5. To start the Format operation, press the [H] (DISK FORMAT) button, in the DISK page above

STEP 2.
Load YAMAHA PSR 1100 / 2100 STYLE info floppy disk

1. Insert your floppy disk into your computer disk drive (floppy drive)
2. Find your style(s) to your yamaha psr 1100 / 2100 in your computer
3. Copy then paste selected style(s) into your floppy disk

STEP 3.
Using Style on Yamaha PSR 1100 and Yamaha PSR 2100

1. Insert floppy disk into your Yamaha PSR 1100 / 2100
2. Click [USER] button on “STYLES” section
3. Press the [BACK] / [NEXT] button to select the “Floppy Disk” Tab
4. Use [A] – [J] buttons to open folder to select style (if your style saved in folder), or select style
5. Select style
6. Play style directly from your floppy disk

STEP 3.1
Load Style into Yamaha PSR1100 / 2100 (Save Style)

1. Insert floppy disk into your Yamaha PSR 1100 / 2100 keyboard
2. Click [USER] button on “STYLES” section
3. Press the [BACK] / [NEXT] button to select the “Floppy Disk” Tab
4. Press the [3] button to copy selected styles / folders
5. Select the appropriate style / folder and press the [7] (OK) button. The currently selected style/folder is highlighted. To select another file/folder, press one of the [A] - [J] buttons. Several styles/folders can be selected together, even those from other pages. To release or cancel the selection, press the button of the selected style/folder again. Press the [6] (ALL) button to select all the styles/folders in the displayed page (PRESET/USER/ FLOPPY DISK). When the [6] (ALL) button is pressed, the [6] (ALL) button changes to “ALL OFF,” letting you release or cancel the selection.
6. Press the [BACK] / [NEXT] button to select the “USER” Tab
7. Press the [4] button in “USER” tab, to PASTE sellected styles / folders
8. Play style from your Yamaha PSR 1100 / 2100
