 How Use External Styles to Yamaha PSR-S900 and Yamaha PSR-S700

Dear vst-store.com users, in this article we will explain you how use the external styles to your Yamaha PSR S900 and Yamaha PSR S700. These models have a fairly broad capabilities over previous models Yamaha. The other possibilities of these models will be discussed in other articles.

To use your new styles to your Yamaha PSR S900 you need to have:

• Yamaha PSR S900 or Yamaha PSR S700
• Style to your keyboard
• Computer
• USB Flash (USB Stick)

 So, get down to work. It's very simple. For a start, we need to format our USB Stick directly with Yamaha PSR S900 or PSR S700.

STEP 1

Formatting USB Stick on Yamaha PSR S900 or S700

it's important:

The format operation deletes any previously existing data. Make sure that the media you
are formatting does not contain important data. Proceed with caution, especially when
connecting multiple USB storage medias.

1. Insert a USB Flash for formatting into the [USB TO DEVICE].
2. Call up the operation display. [FUNCTION] → [J] UTILITY → TAB [<-][->] MEDIA
3. Press the [A]/[B] buttons to select the USB device to be formatted
   from the device list.
4. Press the [H] button to format the device/media.

STEP 2

Load styles from computer to USB Stick

1. Insert USB Flash into your computer USB port.
2. Copy your NEW Yamaha Styles from computer
3. Paste styles to USB Stick

STEP 3

Use your styles into your Yamaha PSR S900 or S700

1. Insert USB Stick into your Yamaha PSR S900 or Yamaha PSR S700
2. Press [USER] button on the Styles section
3. Use TAB [<-][->] to go the USB tab.
4. Use [A]-[H] buttons to select your new style
5. Play

 Enjoy with your new yamaha PSR S styles!
