In Audio Stock mainly your music will buy - manufacturers of advertising, screensavers, flash movies developers, youtubers, various games and applications developers, software designers, decorators, DJs, sometimes students and others...

What to sell?

You can sell music is in any genre - from jazz to rock, from classical to pop, from dance to folk and so on...
You sell the right to use your creativity. All property rights shall remain with you, the customer is issued a license to use your track.

Sales of astock audio are mostly conducted on 2nd licenses.

  1.  License for private non-commercial use - For example, to create a video for friends, for non-commercial websites, work for school, kindergarten etc... This track price from 2 to 20 US dollars (appx.)
  2. Extended License for commercial use. This license gives the purchaser the right to use the track for commercial purposes, but does not give the right to sell the product or replicate more than a certain count time, eg 5000 copies of postcards with your heavy metal riff, Issue infomercial and so on.... Right in the audio track remains with you. Works (tracks) are 10-20 times more expensive than on the type of non-commercial license.

If you still doubt that the sale of the author's music on the Internet is a profitable business, then here is an example:

Example 1. This simple audio file worth $5 USD was sold more than 1000 times. Let's calculate how much money the author received only from this track. If the author was sold it on "Licenses for private non-commercial use", than he received 25% of each sale. 25% of the $5 is 1 dollar 25 cents, Multiply $1.25 by 1000 = $1250. It turns out that seller from only one file earned 1250 USD, and this figure can be increase time at time.

Example 2. This rather simple musical composition price of $20 was sold more than 7000 times. If we assume that the author was selling its "Licenses for private non-commercial use", he received 25% of each sale. 25% of $20 is $5. $5 multiplied by 7000, get $35.000. The author of a musical work earned 35,000 US dollars! And this amount will increase as sales continue. This is only in one audio-stock, but you can sell your track in few audio stocks. If the author was selling his music on "Enhanced License for commercial use," his earnings even higher than - 50-70% off sale! Think for yourself.
